Sophia White

I'm a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on film and photography. 

I was born in San Diego, California and lived there for most of my life until 2019 when I moved to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Since the fall in 2023, I've been attending the Savannah College of Art and Design to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

I love photography because I believe you can tell amazing stories just through a few pictures. I especially love doing portraits because I love seeing the detail on people’s faces, it shows who you are. The color of your eyes and every scar and scratch tell a unique story about how you became you. And I think that is pretty important story to tell.​
 

I love telling stories which is why I also love film. To me, film is a brilliant way to connect with the world because no matter where in the world you are, you can watch a movie and learn something new about somewhere across the ocean.
